Generally, yes. Karambits are regulated at the state level and while each state's laws can vary, most allow utility, work and functional blades that have a blade length of 3" or less or that are specifically designed for hunting or agricultural use.
While the karambit is great for utility usage, it is, first and foremost, a combat and fighting blade.
